Long-term care refers to services or support necessary for personal care needs. Most long-term care is assistance with basic personal tasks rather than medical care. This may range from assistance with eating and bathing to activities such as money management or grocery shopping.

Minnesota Long-Term Care Partnership

The Minnesota Long-Term Care Partnership is a unique program combining private long-term care insurance policies and Medical Assistance. Policy holders are able to protect more of their assets if it becomes necessary for the state to help pay for their long-term care at a later date.
